How to get the most out of a job fair
- Register in advance when the event offers it. Pre-registered candidates often get in first and skip the line.
- Bring 10 to 15 printed resumes and a short list of the employers you want to see, taken from the event listing.
- Prepare a 30-second introduction: who you are, what you do, and what you are looking for.
- Ask each recruiter for the next step and a contact, then follow up within two days.
